Watching A&M v OU right now. Joekel is the top rated OT right now but he isn't as impressive as Matthews in this game. Jake Matthews is DOMINATING his man and never quits until the whistle. Can't question those bloodlines either. I'd take Matthews at 18 if he is there.

I wonder if Houston would consider Orton and a 4th rounder for TJ Yates? That might light a new fire under Romo and give us options at QB in the next 3 years. Romo will have to be extended this offseason because the last year of his contract is almost $17M. He will be extended to lower that number or traded (no chance of that). Yates is only 25. He has already won a playoff game, although that was with a good team that runs the ball and plays great defense. That is how you SHOULD win games though.

This draft is SO deep...I can't wait until early April when the rankings start to firm up. Trading back might not be a bad idea this year unless someone slides to us. We need so much in the OG/OT/C/FS areas and those are all available from the end of the 1st through the 4th rounds. We could use an extra couple of picks

So...I wonder if anyone at Valley Ranch has figured out how to draft the entire Alabama OL yet... That was impressive. I'd love Chance Warmack or Barrett Jones...

Take Warmack at 18 and Jones later. He could slide...5th year senior (so he is older) and he played the last 5 games with a lisfranc injury. Those can be TRICKY to come back from....maybe it creates enough doubt that he slides to us in the 3rd?

Just found this info on his injury. Out 3-4 months means he can't work out before the draft...SLIDE BABY SLIDE!
Jones, who suffered the Lisfranc (midfoot) injury in the first quarter of the SEC championship game back on Dec. 1, will undergo surgery on Wednesday and be out for three to four months.

Rob Ryan fired - twitter is going crazy and it is so funny. A week ago everyone said "Jerry won't make any changes...all lip service". Now he makes a big change and they say "what the hell is he doing??!!".
Not saying Jason should be off the hook but were you ok with his lack of scheme to cover injuries? We had 2 healthy, top notch players on the D. Both of them are CBs. Could he have pressed and given the front 7 the chance to get after the QB? Manufacture some pressure. Adapt. Adjust.
Now, if not adapting and not adjusting is a fire-able offense, then RedJ should be packing along with him. Maybe a switch to a full time 4-3 is in the works and they wanted to use a different D-Coord to do that? I don't know....we'll see soon I'm sure (the "new" guy will need to have time to assess the roster and work with Jerry and the FO on free agency and the draft.

So Norv wanted Skip Peete and Rob gone? Wonder what he has against them? Remember, Jerry said he was going to talk to people outside the organization...wondering if Jimmy whispered in his ear at all? Jason, Norv, and Jimmy are all pretty close.
