Who are the top OL and DL in the 2013 draft? Those are the guys Jerry needs to be scouting at the Senior Bowl, etc.

Taylor Lewan OT from Michigan battled Clowney and did a great job against him in the Outback Bowl. Clowney's big play wasn't on him. He was supposed to go get the LB on the 2nd level. Anybody that can battle that beast and not get torn apart sounds like a good prospect to me. He is a little high for us right now (at around 12) but hopefully we get some risers that push him down a few spots. If he was there, I'd have to consider him. www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/blog/rob-rang/21483627/clowney-vs-lewan-lives-up-to-the-hype

Wow...6-7 310...a possible Doug Free replacement? Which brings up another question: will Free be here next year? Didn't he get a 5 year deal? So that would make this past season year number 2, correct? That's still a lot of money left. Depending on who we get in the draft (and maybe via FA), is the big decision to move him to RG or LG? Free got a 4 yr deal and has been here 2 years. We will save some money by cutting him, but not alot. If Callahan thinks he is a legit RG, then fine. If he doesn't KNOW that he will be the starter, have to cut him and move on.
Miles has to go too...we will only save about $1M by cutting Ratliff, so he is one that has to be thought about. The savings won't get you much and when healthy he is still good. If they can get a new NT, Ratliff might be a good veteran that plays some NT in passing situations and DE on running downs. Limit his snaps, keep him healthy, and he can play here next year.
