Watched this season's first episode, powerful stuff with the funeral and post murder situation. I thought Dexter was going to bail and have Cain-esque adventures for awhile before deciding to come back but I guess not. His freak out in the bathroom seemed messy, wonder if it will come back to haunt him later.

yeah, I wondered about the bathroom freakout myself...surely he cleaned up any evidence that could point to him and got out of there, but we'll see if it comes back.
good first episode....glad this is back on

Good 2nd episode...I guess the Rita flashbacks are done. That roadkill technician needs to get his comeuppance. Glad the 2 older kids are gone, the daughter was a whip...

Dexter getting the tranq dart as he tried to knock out the roadkill guy was good schtick. Something about him getting killed didn't seem right though, almost like he wasn't killing them, just disposing for someone else...I also have a feeling the little hispanic cop is in on the santa muerte killings...Quinn is causing too many problems for Dexter, I think his days are numbered.

I thought the same thing about the beat cop being in on the santa muerte murders. You're right about Quinn and I had not thought about that angle with the roadkill guy...you may be right. He may have been the killer's assistant or something.

DANGIT! I was hoping Julia Stiles had gotten on the plane. I guess she is SAVING THE LAST DANCE for Dexter. The beheadings plotline is getting more interesting. That scene with the 2 bodies covered in maggots was pretty gruesome...I thought like Angel did that La Guerta was giving the "best bj's in Miami" to the Internal Affairs guy.

Julia Stiles is a MAJOR whip in this show. All she does is do stupid crap, call Dexter to fix it, and whine about it the whole time. Dexter should have off'd her when he had the chance. She is by far the most annoying character ever on this show...Quick thinking by Dexter to make the gay killer look like the killer of Julia Stile's rapist. That guy really wasted his one phone call...I'm guessing the Quinn-Robocop alliance is going to be a major problem for Dexter. He is going to have to deal with them like he did with the black cop from the first couple of seasons (although it was more the British chick than him)...
