no matter what the final outcome of this series, the mavs have really done dallas proud One of the things Chris always says is that the Mav's break his heart every year. I told him that with the way they've played during this playoff run, he can't say they did that this year. Win or Lose they have made us fans proud. But I so want them to win!

Big, BIG game tonight. It would be FAR better to go back to Miami up 3-2 with 2 shots on the road to close out. Going back down 3-2 and facing back to back must win games on the road there is a tall order for any team that has ever played in the finals.
I'm still very worried. JET was better, but he still hasn't been JET. JJB is missing layups. He gets in the lane, but misses the easy bucket (although he made that really difficult one). We are still missing open 15 footers. PEJA has been so bad, Cardinal has become a role player. Haywood is hurt and likely won't play and Marion was kicked in the calf 2 nights ago.
I'm proud of them, but the injuries and poor play are really starting to pile up. We need some good fortune to stay in this thing.

I don't want to go there for two games when all Miami needs to do is win one. That place will be a hornets nest either way, but a loss tonight means that they smell blood with two home games in their back pocket. Wade might go off for 50.

JJB and JET have to have a repeat performance tonight. We will get the Heat's best game and they will have a very hostile crowd. If we don't get contributions across the board, we'll be in trouble facing a game 7 in Miami.

I'm so glad I can finally smile. I was so scared of posting anything positive and jinxing it...had to keep doubting the role players and hoping they proved me wrong...and they did in a BIG WAY.

Maybe I'll wear Mavs gear during Cowboy games this year.
