I know they're 3rd in the West right now, but it sure seems the Stars have caught a raging case of THE SUCK lately.
They've lost 4 of their last 5 by a combined score of 24-9.
Not really looking much like a legitimate contender these days.

Yep, they are in a bad way right now. Defense sucking and the offense not getting the first goal. They thrive when they get the first goal. Of course, they are missing 4 or 5 regulars. Not having Jamie Benn is huge.

I also am not now, nor have never been, sold on Lehtonen as a quality starting goalie. Almost (ALMOST) makes me miss TURDco.

I can't help but want to go to a Stars game just to chant "SAME OLD SHIT! SAME OLD SHIT! SAME OLD SHIT!" Except that it really isn't the same. The past few years have been really rough, but when this team had solid coaching in place, they were the model of consistency, right up there with Detroit. What they need to do is not get a re-tread coach like Crawford, and figure out what type of game they want to play and draft accordingly. |

Also, they really have to stop the whole "giving up the tying goal in the last minute and then losing it in OT" or giving up a 2 goal lead to lose. Those are big point to be losing in the stands and will probably be the reason that they miss out on the playoffs.
