Is George Carlin worthy of being inducted into the trifecta?

Dangit, he was VERY funny. Haven't you ever heard the old bit he did comparing baseball to football? Pure genius. You need an avatar, dude.

Never heard that bit, all the HBO specials I saw him in did nothing for me though... I'm gonna lay out on picking an avatar because this site will be abandoned in a week. It's already a failed bit...

Carlin was VERY funny...much more quite a few years back before he lost his edge...he tried hard when he got older but you could tell his heart wasn't in it anymore. When he was younger and really did hate everything/everyone...he was FUNNY.

I guess it's because I haven't seen much pre-1985 stuff. I tried to watch some of his more recent HBO specials a few years back, there was more laughs in a random episode of "Get a Life" than what I saw...

That looks like a big virus... n-n-no it's deadspin.com Is that because George Carlin is "dead spinning in his grave...ROCK ME!"
