I had not thought about this, but I guess it is similar to Mench playing here...except that Dallas fans are pieces of shit like those MFers in Philly -
Former Texas Rangers infielder Michael Young has been a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan, so his trade to Philadelphia this winter put him in the heart of enemy territory.
And Young told reporters in Philly that it didn’t take long to have his first run-in with an Eagles fan. According to Young, he was at the airport in Philadelphia when a TSA agent checked his ID.
“She saw my driver’s license says Dallas, and she looks at me and I thought she was going to call the cops on me. I was checking my pockets to make sure I didn’t have a knife on me or anything,” Young said. “She asked if I was a Cowboys fan. I said, ‘Yeah.’ And she was pissed. She was not happy with that answer at all. So I basically just bolted, got through the TSA, sat there right next to the gate and just prayed that my flight would leave on time.”
Both Young and the media chuckled throughout the story, but there was one part of Young’s fandom that one Philly reporter seemed to find hard to believe: Is Young really a supporter of Tony Romo and Jason Garrett?
“Jeez, you’re sticking it to me,” Young joked. “Yeah, you could say that, for sure.”
