Broaddus spends alot of time at Valley Ranch and reading his tweets gives alot of insight to things that people are saying out there. I found these 2 tweets really interesting.
Bryan Broaddus @bryanbroaddus “@aleblanc13: Do u think a change in OC would be good for Romo or wouldn't matter? thanks” now he fights to get plays in plan. Good for. Expand 4h Bryan Broaddus @bryanbroaddus “@oldgoatee: @bryanbroaddus Do u think theres a chance callahan could get a shot at OC?” Think he has an outstanding one. Up to GM & HC
So Romo has to fight to get plays into a game plan? Shouldn't the OC be trying to make the QB comfortable? Sounds like Callahan will be probably calling plays next year. Maybe he'll be able to do a better job of not only running the ball but also keeping Romo engaged?

Exactly!! Shouldn't QB & head coach figure out what works and doesn't work so well and build upon that?

You'd think....I just wasn't sure if I was reading too much into that tweet, but that is what it looks like to me.

Saw a disturbing Romo-related stat today: JJT says Romo is now the second-oldest starting QB in the NFC behind Brees. Just seems like yesterday he was still a fresh-faced kid.

That's shocking to read. Seems like it has happened awfully quick.

Don't forget he was here a few years before he got on the field. He's ok though...missed a few years of wear and tear. This draft needs to be all about the OL/DL. Next year more of the same, but starting next year or the year after we should be looking at QB as high as first round. I think Romo has 3 elite years left. Hopefully we sign him to a 5 year contract this offseason (at most). Structure it to be "cuttable" after 3-4 years. That takes him to 35-36 yrs old. We could have a 24(ish) yr old ready and waiting to step in. Most of the team is young and will be getting younger. The window for this team is wide open outside of Romo, Ware, and Witten.

Yeah, I can definitely see Romo having another 3-4 very good years left in him.

If they can actually build a solid offensive line, then it might take that 3-4 years of elite play and tack on another year or two. Especially if they can rely on the running game more, save his arm and keep him from getting hit.
