This was an ok kid's movie but I felt a little disappointed. Story and voice acting wise, it was fine but, considering the cast, I expected it to be a lot funnier. With guys like Adam Sandler, Kevin James, and Andy Samberg involved, I really thought it would have much more humor but it felt like a generic kid's movie.
The animation in the movie was well done and the characters felt vibrant. The plot revolving around Dracula's daughter wanting to leave the castle and experience humankind was decent and didn't drag all that much. A few sections felt forced though, like the music scenes and the side story about how Dracula's wife passed before building the hotel. There were some funny moments involving Frankenstein and the Mummy.
Overall, thumbs up as a kid's movie but I would wait for cable on it unless your children REALLY like Halloween and want to see it in the theater.

I thought it was pretty good - probably the best kids movie I've seen this year, along with Pirates Band of Misfits.
