One game for the division. That's not the way I would have planned it. Today, I'm reminded of Big Dave saying two years ago when the Rangers were planning Tampa, it's not supposed to be easy. I suppose he was right, I just sure which it was easier. Not to over react but the team is not playing well and I'm a little concerned about how well they can do in the playoffs. I'll have my Ranger colors on and will be wishing for the best but I've got a bad feeling.

Wiggle-glove being on the mound makes me nervous. I'd rather it be Yu or Harrison. Truth is though, the offense has been the major issue. None of the pitchers stand a real good chance if we're just going to score a run or 2.
But...I believe. LET'S GO RANGERS!

The divisional outcome was much more about what the A's DID do, as opposed to what the Rangers didn't. Oakland had a phenomenal season, and they earned the AL West title. Kudos to them.

With Colby and Neftali lost for the year, bringing in Yu and all the changes he had to face (adjustment to hitters, different ball, pitching rotations, etc) and Josh's rollercoaster year (and attitude) over 90 wins and a wildcard birth isn't too bad. This team might need a little rest after 2 WS runs and this crazy season.

I think we're in a place to be much better next year (returning injured players, Profar making his way up at some point, etc) but so are the As. The funny thing is, the Angels may be moving to 3rd in the division with that Yankee-esque payroll.

Angels still have A LOT of talent - I'm thinking they will be very tough next season.

3rd place Their talent is OLD. What they really have is the best pitcher in the division.

3rd place Their talent is OLD. What they really have is the best pitcher in the division. Mike Trout is damn near a teenager, and already an MVP candidate. Yeah, Pujols and Hunter are old, but Rusty Trumbo's still just 26. I don't fear the Angels, but also don't think it's safe to just write them off.
