GREAT movie, one of the best I have seen this year. Lots of great action, cool story and Bane was one of the better villains in a comic book movie that I can recall. His ruthlessness and back story made the movie in general very entertaining.
The story picks up 8 years ahead of the Dark Knight and shows Bruce Wayne as becoming a shut in after taking the fall for Dent's murder. From there, the additions of Bane and Hathaway as Catwoman really add to the plot points. Also, I was glad to see Ra's al Ghul incorporated so heavily. For those that may have not seen the first 2 movies or don't remember them well, I would HIGHLY recommend re-watching them before going into this one as the main angles of the story revolve around the first 2 movies heavily. Joseph Gordon-Levitt was a nice addition to the cast as well.
High praise aside, there was a couple of plot holes that didn't quite make sense (*SPOILER* Getting away from a 6 mile radius blast? Showing up in Gotham so quickly after escaping the pit?*SPOILER*). Plus, there was one VERY comical death scene toward the end of the movie that made the whole theater giggle.
Overall though, BIG thumbs up and a fitting end to the trilogy. It was right up there with The Avengers for me as being one of the funnest movies of the year, definitely worth theater price.
