It was very cool and entertaining movie, right up there with Up and Wall-E as one of the better Pixar movies of the last couple of years. Animation was very smooth and colorful, plus the story was decent. Voice acting was good also, especially Mrs Schroeder from Boardwalk Empire as the princess and Billy Connolly as the King.
The story revolved around a tomboy princess that does not want to have her future decided by her parents but then makes a bad choice in how to go about changing it. I was surprised the whole bear angle isn't touched on in any of the trailers, so the plot was a nice surprise compared to what I was expecting. Some silly humor and decent action to keep kids and adults entertained.
Overall thumbs up and worth theater price although I don't know that 3-D viewing is required to enjoy it.
