Here is a review of his first start with Round Rock via the Newberg Report:
In a sardine-packed Dell Diamond, Roy Oswalt pitched two scoreless innings on 34 pitches. Oswalt allowed three singles: one hard liner to left, a medium-hard grounder up the middle and a cheap bloop to right. He walked one and struck out one. The ump might have been squeezing him a bit, but irrespective of calls, Oswalt's location and velocity were solid. Some of the early fastballs clocked in the mid-80s on the stadium gun, but a scout told me he ran in the 92-94 MPH range. He was consistently 90-92 in the 2nd and mixed in a variety pack of offspeed pitches. He also threw a bullpen session after leaving the mound. In essence, Oswalt looked fit and ready for duty.

No need to rush him though...LOTS of season left. I know Bob is sitting in a corner on the floor crying while touching himself but I'm not worried. This is a very good team. Youth, veterans, hitters, pitching, speed, power, we have it all. We're just slumping a little, although Harrison did a nice job of streak busting today and Yu was great yesterday, but his defense and hitters crapped the bed.

Feldman made sure to kill any momentum we had built tonight. Just awful. I'd rather have a pitch machine out there.
