Saw it twice over the weekend...GREAT movie and definitely lived up to the hype! I went in with high expectations after seeing all the previous Marvel hero movies leading up to it and it came through with flying colors. Lots of great action, solid story, and the chemistry between the characters worked very well. Some of my favorite scenes were the humorous interactions between the guys on the ship and their inner quarrels.
If I were to nitpick, some of the beginning of the movie was slow and Loki could have been a stronger villain but those are minor complaints. The finale battle against the Chitauri army was fantastic and everyone contributed equally, including Captain America, who I thought going in was the weakest of the bunch. Hulk especially had some great schtick during the major fights. Be sure to also stay for AND after the credits for bonus payoff. BIG thumbs up and must be experienced on the big screen!

Saw it for a 2nd time on Sunday and it was just as good the 2nd time. I caught a lot more of the fun dialog. Also the big secret ending after the credits does show Captain America with his chin in his hand (hiding that the actor now has a beard). A big must see!

That part was hilarious! All of them eating at that Shawarma place while it's all torn up and the workers sweep up the debris was good schtick! Saw it for a 2nd time on Sunday and it was just as good the 2nd time. I caught a lot more of the fun dialog.
