Mavericks put us fans out of our misery and go quiet into the night. As Gary put it on poker night, it will be an interesting off season.
Spurs and Thunder fans get to enjoy the post season for a little while longer and maybe they can do the I-35 corrider proud but for now, I'm going to put away the Mav's gear and think about seeing the Avenger's again.

We need a makeover. I think we should let Jet walk and give that role to Delonte. Bring in Deron Williams and bring back Kidd as his backup (which he said he'd love to do).
Deron Williams is a legit scorer, moreso than Jet. He is a guy that has performed well in crunch time too, so I think he'll be much more dependable than JET.
The thing about last year's team that was really different was the pick and roll offense we got from Barea. He was tiny, but he could score. When Kidd runs the pick and roll, it is always going to be a pass. He doesn't look to score.
Williams can run that and score like Barea, except he is a BIG guard. That will get the offense back on track.
Can you imagine Deron throwing alley oop passes to Brandon Wright?
Deron fixes alot of things. I think a longer offseason and a NORMAL regular season will help our older guys too.
The interesting thing will be to see what we do (or don't do) with Haywood and Marion.
Marion is still your best perimeter defender and SF.
Haywood is necessary for battling LA unless you get another bruising center.
