Saw this last week...Great movie, one of the better acted and directed stories I have seen this year. The trailer pretty much gives the story away about a couple of California pot dealers being propositioned by the Mexican cartels and having their significant other taken. Once Lively is abducted, the action really kicks in and makes for a very entertaining and sometimes comical ride. Great performances especially by Benicio Del Toro and Salma Hayek as the cartel enforcer and leader.
My only major beef with this movie was the ending(s). Up until the last 20 minutes of the movie, it was really rolling along but the ending(s) just fell so flat, especially the 2nd (supposedly real) one. That version just didn't have nearly enough comeuppance for the villains involved. Overall, still a big thumbs up and worth theater price although be sure to leave the kids at home due to some REALLY graphic sex and violence scenes.
