www.youtube.com/watch?v=4S9a5V9ODuYI really liked the books so I'm looking forward to seeing how they show up on film. I've heard very good things about Woody Harrelson and Lenny Kravitz's performance. I also think Jennifer Lawrence is going to be great in this role.

Seems like it's targeting the Twilight crowd, but definitely looks more interesting.

I saw it Saturday and was very happy with the movie. They did a good job of taking the book and adapting it for the screen. good stuff!

Saw it Sunday night. Was pretty good, but the book was much better. Recommended.

It was ok, not as much action as I was expecting. Story was cool but seemed kind of rushed, probably because they were trying to shoehorn in a lot from the book (never read it) into 2+ hours. Acting was solid, good schtick from Stanley Tucci as that cheesy TV host and Woody Harrelson as the former winner/mentor. The death scenes of the kids were well done but obscured for obvious PG-13 reasons and the effects overall were interesting, especially the fire scenes. I thought it was also kind of funny seeing that a-hole (Glenn Hetrick) from Face Off (Scy-Fy show) name in the credits after being whipped by him all season. Overall, thumbs up and people that have read the book will probably appreciate it more than I did. Worth theater price but, since the game ends at the end of the movie, I wonder how the other 2 parts of the trilogy play out (the sister next year?).

I won't spoil it for you but they do a nice job of moving the story along in the next two books.
