If the NFL had Amnesty this season like the NBA did who would you cut from the Cowboys?
7 year $79 million is the biggest overpaid salary the Cowboys have. Ware will get you 15+ sacks per season but $11 million yearly is just way to much for a team sport like football. He is basically a Ghetto car with great rims. $2000 dollar rims on a $5,000 car is something only a dummy thinks is sharp.
Romo 6 years $67.4 million again I think he's good but no value in over paying for a 9 year vet that hasn't delivered. If you haven't gotten to the next level in 9 years you have failed if you're getting $11 million yearly.
Miles Austin 7 years $57 million best example of a team getting Scott Mitchell-ed since the Dolphins wow so overpaid for a bit player with one breakout season that had a history of injury problems. Heck wish Miles got busted selling weed and we kept Sam Hurd. When will the Cowboys figure out one year wonders don't have a track record for a reason. Here's a thought Robinson again is a one year wonder with 10 great games lets give him $8 yearly.
Others on my list are Newman thankfully almost done with his contract and now Ratliff his contract extension was a complete joke.
I think overpaid is over paid doesn't matter the talent level if there isn't value in the player.

Miles Austin would be the only player I would consider amnestying and even he would be ok as long as he could stay healthy. Before last season, Roy Williams and Marion Barber would have been PRIME candidates for it. Ware, Romo (I think he is paid what he should be) and Ratliff are overpaid but I think are still contributors enough to warrant still being here.
