One of the best movies I have seen this year. I went in expecting a "I Am Number 4" type of teen action movie but this was much better. The storyline and character development is very good, plus the pacing is very brisk. For those out on Blair Witch and Cloverfield type first person camcorder movies...BEWARE. It felt like a cross between Paranormal Activity with all the hidden camera footage, plus a total remake of Akira (for those that have seen it). The abused kid with sudden powers angle felt like a straight copy-paste, even the hospital scenes with him in scrubs felt straight from the anime. That said, I REALLY liked this movie and just wish it had an opening for a sequel. Thumbs up and worth theater price!
