Very entertaining movie, one of the better stories I have seen this year. I went in fresh, without having ever read the book or seen the original version (although I would like to now) and found it to be very well done. Good acting from all the central characters and the mystery resolution at the end caught me off guard. Also, the dragon chick had some good schtick, especially when she was getting comeuppance on the rapist money caretaker and giving her report on the James Bond guy. My only complaint is that it felt like once the mystery part of the movie was resolved, it should have ended there. The whole last 20 minutes with the bank and disguises seemed like the start of another movie and made the movie feel longer than it should have. Overall though, big thumbs up and worth theater price. Also, the opening credits sequence with the techno rock rendition of "Immigrant Song" was very cool!
