I watched all of season 1...it had some funny moments. I don't know how much time I'll devote to it. I think after a while they will have a hard time pushing the envelope without really jumping the shark.

I have to say at this point Archer has over taken Tim in the funny department. Pushes the envelope way better even though it's just on FX.

Last Friday's ep was solid, the exanoral and Dr. BJ stuff was good (I like getting them, not giving them). The gun episode was good also, mainly to see Tim getting shot and violently falling to the floor. Amy getting drunk and calling Stu a retard was funny also...

Forgot to post about the last couple of episodes. Last week was back to season 1 quality. The apu from Parks and Rec was funny as the pool hustler/gambler guy and I was happy to see something good happen to Tim for a change (cashing in the 10k). The 2nd segment with Super Dave as the elephant trainer was funny also. More classic Stu goodness screwing that animal activist.
"I'm sorry if I don't know how to kiss..."

Last Friday's was a mixed bag...first segment with Debbie getting stung by the bee and the whole Stu molesting Tim schtick was season 1 quality.
The 2nd segment with the corporate retreat started strong with Tim firing the Kris Kris sales guy but the whole escape artist thing was meh.

Both segments last Friday were high end season 1 quality, mainly because both revolved around Stu-balls...
"You need a Stu-lution?"
His crying jag in the bathroom was genius...

Season finale was definitely season 1 quality, especially the 1st segment with everyone getting fired. The bathroom attendant going scorch earth at the end was greatness.
The 2nd segment was decent, only really funny parts were the dead writer T-shirts with his face in the nachos. Tim's segment of the book was pretty bad...

BEST NEWS EVER www.variety.com/article/VR1118022971.html?categoryid=14&cs=1HBO renews 'Life and Times of Tim' Cabler orders third season of animated comedy
By STUART LEVINE
After saying goodbye to "The Life and Times of Tim" two months ago, HBO has greenlit a third season of the toon laffer. The pay cabler has ordered 10 episodes of the skein created by Steve Dildarian about a bumbling twentysomething office worker who continually makes bad decisions that affect his career and social life. The first two seasons were also 10 episodes apiece.
Produced by MRC and Good Humor TV, "Tim" was shopped to others nets -- Comedy Central, TBS and Adult Swim included -- but couldn't get a pick-up.
HBO scheduled the second season of "Tim" alongside the first season of "The Ricky Gervais Show," the animated skein based on Gervais popular podcasts. "Gervais" got a second-season order, but "Tim" didn't fare as well … until now.
Dildarian, who comes from an advertising background, was the voice behind the lead character and driving force behind the skein. Tom Werner, Jimmy Miller, Mike Clements, Leynete Cariapa and Dildarian are exec producers.
