This one's really hard. At some point, the injuries are going to be too much to overcome. Assuming Romo, Dez, Newman and Jenkins all play and are at least somewhat effective...

Home opener crowd keeps Dallas from drowning in the injury dead pool...Dez ends up with a big game and expect Demarco Murray to get some major PT with Felix hurting and Choice falling out of favor.

Need a do-over, the offensive line looks atrocious tonight. Free with multiple holding penalties...Costa with bad snaps at the wrong snap count, Nagy getting run over consistently... Felix has had some open running lanes but is slipping on all of his cutbacks...Romo is pretty much bailing out of each passing play as early as possible because he knows the line isn't buying him much time. Defense has played about as well as could be expected but they are getting worn out fast.

Phil Costa is playing center worse than any football game I can ever recall...Gurode would be nice right about now.

Gurode did that same crappy snap stuff...no revisionist history. Probably Kowalski time.... I don't recall this many times in 1 game...Costa has misnapped like 4 or 5 times so far. Even his snaps on the right snap count are either 2 low or 2 high.

I was REALLY close. The entire defense was OUTSTANDING (Sean Lee is a PRO BOWLER), as was Romo and Bailey (and second half Felix). Witten and Tyron Smith were solid, as usual. The win is the most important thing, so today is not time to harp on the negative. Just suffice it to say there are a lot of guys on this team who either have no idea what they're doing (basically every WR other than Miles and Dez - though Robinson showed flashes) or are simply in over their head (Costa, Marty B.). Focusing on the positive, a Wade-coached team would WITHOUT QUESTION have lost these last two games. We are absolutely ravaged by injuries, with injured guys getting re-injured and re-re-re-injured (Jenkins). As much as I've always hated the early bye, it is nothing short of a godsend this year. While many guys on this team are maxing inexcusable repeated mental errors, ths team is showing HEART and GUTS week in and week out - led by Romo.

Gurode did that same crappy snap stuff...no revisionist history. Yeah, so far Costa's only done this one game. I remember Gurode having crazy-ass snaps MANY, MANY games.

Even his snaps on the right snap count are either 2 low or 2 high. Costa sucking for one game (when the redskins were allegedly barking out the signals, which is a 15 yard penalty) is not the same as Gurode sucking on nearly every shotgun snap. There was even talk at times that we shouldn't run the shotgun with him at all. If this continues, it is a trend and you do something about it. If it was a one game aberration then you move on (kind of like Aikman's 5 INT game). It happens.
