Adam 'Pacman' Jones to Wade Phillips: Please, please, please let me return kickoffs 1:17 PM Mon, Sep 01, 2008 | Permalink | Yahoo! Buzz Tim MacMahon E-mail News tips
The Cowboys have yet to announce who will return kickoffs in the season opener. Wade Phillips and Co. might not have decided yet.
Adam "Pacman" Jones, who will return punts, firmly believes he's the best candidate for running back kickoffs, too. And he's told Phillips as much over and over and over again.
"I'm still lobbying," Pacman said. "I'm going to keep on coach until he lets me get one. .... He knows what I can do, and these games count."
Pacman is almost as confident in his lobbying ability as he is in his return skills. He made a friendly wager with a reporter that he'd be back there in Cleveland.

That's what I think. I would really like to see what he can do on KOs. Maybe they knew he would return them all along, but wanted to get others in the mix.

I wish we could pick him up in the FF league if he returns both...

Wade Phillips said that Adam "Pacman" Jones and Felix Jones would probably be the Cowboys' primary kickoff returners in Sunday's season opener.
"It may not be both of them on the field," Phillips said. "It may be one at a time, but hopefully there aren't too many of those [kickoff returns]."
Isaiah Stanback, who appeared to be seizing the kickoff return role before dislocating his shoulder, is expected to play in Cleveland. However, the plan is to limit Stanback's role to the No. 3 WR.

Good news all around. Dynamic kick returners and a decent #3 WR available for game day...feeling much better about this one.

Yeah was worried TO or Crayton would be over worked and get hurt. This is good news indeed.
