Sherwood Schwartz, the veteran television producer who created and wrote the theme songs for classic TV shows including The Brady Bunch and Gilligan's Island, has died. Great niece Robin Randall tells AP he died at 4 a.m. this morning. Schwartz, who began his career writing jokes for Bob Hope, died of natural causes in his sleep surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Mildred Schwartz, and four children. He was 94.

You can joke all you want but years from now, kids will be singing those theme songs and watching those shows. Even his name was funny!
Now he joins Gilligan, The Skipper too, The millionaire and his wife in that big tropical island in the sky.
