Here it goes.
Danny Amendola. One of the last cuts, could play at Cleveland. Mike Jefferson. Started the last pre-season game, also could move up to active roster. Marcus Dixon. Hurt all pre-season, team sees potential.
Rodney Hannah. Four tight ends. Yeah, Hannah is mainly special teams. Julius Crosslin. Showed an ability to block like a fullback. Alonzo Coleman. Improved from last season. Tearrius George. Last pre-season game helped his cause.

Everybody's favorite quarterback, Richard Bartel, is expected to rejoin the Cowboys' practice squad roster.
Bartel will sign the deal at some point on Monday. Miami expressed an interest in Bartel, but the former Grapevine, SMU and Tarleton State, standout, has decided to remain here.
Bartel's time here could be short-lived with the Cowboys seeking another quarterback for the active roster.

Walden went to the Chiefs....dangit.
I'm a little surprised at keeping Hannah. Its not like we have any old TEs...Witten is the old guy in that group. Curtis is a great 3rd TE IF Bennett beats him out. Bennett is a 2nd round pick with a ton of talent. I like Hannah, I just don't see the use in developing him.
Crosslin is a good idea. Keep a FB close to the roster and working on the offense just in case Cricket hurts himself destroying LBs again.
I was a little surprised at Coleman over Lattimore. Did Lattimore get picked up by someone? I didn't see anything about him.
Dixon has a ton of potential...hope he realizes it with us.
Talk of Amendola and Jefferson possibly playing makes me wonder if there is another trade coming, like they will trade 2 or 3 guys for one and free up roster spots. Maybe Marten and Ball or Oglesby for a backup WR?

I like the Ernest Wilford idea, but I can't believe Miami would part with him after just signing him...of course, Parcells did that with that LB from Tennessee too (red headed kid...don't recall his name). He got $1M bonus and was let go that training camp.

Hell, he signed Davis and then released him. Tuna is unpredictable. I like the Wilford idea also. And I like the kid you mentioned that got cut from NYG.

the Tuna has gone bad.....I'm like Dave. I was never comfortable with him being here...bringing in ex-NY players to work with the team just never did sit right. I tried to like him because he was our coach but I'm SO glad he is gone.

I didn't like the ex-Giants coming here either, and Jerry really didn't like it. When he said he had to bite his tongue about them coming in was pretty amazing. It sounded like it hurt him because he said that we have had some of the greatest players in the history of the league just waiting for Bill to extend a welcoming hand. I liked it a lot that this training camp had a number of Cowboy greats helping out. Really nice to see Big E helping with the OL.

I just hate to think he is trying to take credit for this team, Jerry gets all the credit in my eyes, Tuna is a fraud.

well, if Miami doesn't get much better in 2 years everybody will know...they already know it was Jerry that veto'd Parcells taking Spears at #11 instead of Ware. That is a strong indication right there that he was losing it. He also didn't think Romo could be an NFL QB...that was Peyton.

Jerry brought us Bigg. Jerry Brought us TO, Witten and Newman were already here. What did Tuna do again?

Jerry brought us Bigg. Jerry Brought us TO, Witten and Newman were already here. What did Tuna do again? You left out Ware. Jerry got Ware when Parcells wanted Spears. Parcells got us Henry (good)...not much else. Hard to say who was in charge of getting guys like Columbo. Jerry also got Ken Hamlin.

Tuna got us Justin Rogers, Skyler Green, & Bobby Carpenter. Those are just off the top of my head. I am sure there are more spares.
