What a weird episode last night. I can understand Godric feeling remorse over what he has done in 2000 years but it seemed like such a waste of an interesting character to kill him off like that. I would have liked to have seen him somehow used to battle with Mary Anne...
I was onboard with the Lafayette and Eggs fight, I thought for sure Eggs would have kicked his ass...
I guess the show is sticking to the book version by making Sookie get into a love triangle with Bill and Eric (according to Arla). Eric's move to make Sookie drink his blood was slick...
It looks like the previews for the last 3 episodes hint at the vamps going up against Mary Anne (Bill saying he doesn't know how to stop her). I just hope it ends up being a decent fight.

I liked the ending with Godric. I agree that he was a great character and I would have liked to see more of him but the way he went out was very well done. One of the posters on the TIST board has had a theory since the beginning of this season that Andy was going to save the town. Seeing Sam show up at Andy's room makes me think that is going to happen. I'm pumped for the big show down between Mary Ann and Sookie's army. |
