The Hardline talked about the show yesterday. I am a fan of the books that the series is based on so I was looking forward to seeing the new HBO show. I got the chance to see it last night and I liked it. The set up was nicely done. We had a few nice but rough sex scenes. It along with Entourage is must see TV.

any hot bitches? (clearly a drop) Rogue from X-Men was in it (Anna Paquin?), she looks really white trash though. I saw bits and pieces of it with Arla, she is really into vampire shows. It looked ok from what I saw but I didn't mix in the whole thing, maybe I will this weekend. |

I watched the first 2 episodes last night back to back. It seems interesting, has some cool storylines and the fact that vampires are not in hiding and part of society is interesting. The name of the show is named after a synthetic blood that is sold to vampires to keep them off the real stuff. Jesse was right about the sex scenes, pretty rough and the scene in episode 2 where the brother seeks comfort in the arms of his sister's co-worker was just over the top and had no real bearing on the story. Anna Paquin looked better in X-Men though. She, and her family, are pretty white trashed out along with the rest of the town. Arla is digging the show much more than I am...

I think I figured out some of the story line, the stray dog that keeps showing up is a vampire.

The dog is a character we've seen but it's not a vampire.
BTW - the older co-worker is married to "Ben from Lost" in real life.
She looks pretty good!

I think I figured out some of the story line, the stray dog that keeps showing up is a vampire. I think the stray dog is the owner of the bar but I don't think he is a vampire. I think he is some kind of werewolf or something... |

HBO announced yesterday that they have renewed the show for a 2nd season. That's good news for fans of the show.
