Interesting episode last Sunday...lots of pulling the curtain back on Lafayette and Sam's background. I thought it was good schtick that Sam's brother was a pit bull while Sam is just some Lassie-esque pooch. He seems to be a lot better at shifting than Sam is...probably from the mother training.
The upcoming fight between Eric and the wolf should be good...The vamp king serving blood gellato was good schtick. I guess the map of the Stackhouse family the vamp found in Bill's house means they will start leaning more towards the book version of Bill (according to Arla).

A Very nice 2nd episode. I'm going to mix my metaphors here but sometime last year I heard a Springsteen expert mention that fans should learn to like hearing "Waiting on a Sunny Day" because it is clear that Bruce likes to sing it in concert. I'm going to say that as fans of True Blood, we should learn to like the multiple story lines happening in each episode because that is sure how the creative team likes to build their episodes. It didn't bother me as much this week. I still am not a fan of Tara and Lafayette (thought I know that puts me in the minority) but her interaction with James Frain's vampire character made me even like her a little bit this week. A lot going on but most of the storylines interest me. I like the vampire politics and the idea that Eric was in the SS, pretty entertaining.

Sunday's episode was VERY full throttle...Pam tearing up the Russian stripper...Tara getting torn up by the vamp that snooped around Bill's house and Bill tearing up his ex (and maker). The big doggy style exorcist porn was funny...
Arla said the werewolf helping Sookie out becomes a big player later on in the book, which will probably translate over to the show...I wonder why Erik was being so nice to Lafayette and gave him the big $1 convertible. This show needs more Vamp vs Wolf action...

Decent last episode...I thought Bill's break up call to Sookie was good schtick...
"We effed like only 2 vampires can..."
I thought Pam was going to be a goner when she was getting all silver'd up. Quick thinking by her to blame Bill for everything and Erik was quick to fold on him also...I think the new wolf and Sookie are going to hook up at some point, at least it happened in the books...Jason is starting to turn into a whip with all the "make me a cop" talk but his conversation with the new high school QB was funny...
