I'm totally fed up with his inconsistency and failure to develop. He's now had 2-3 years to grow into a quality starter, and he has failed to do so. For every halfway decent start we get from him, he strings together 3-4 poor outings. Not being able to go 7 last night after being spotted that huge lead is the final straw. I am OUT on Holland.

You're dead wrong. This is why young pitchers get traded off and become great somewhere else. The guy gets people out, he just has to become more consistent. If you're going to tell me he has had 3 years to become a consistent starter, I'm going to question whether you've ever actually watched a game.
He made his major league debut in late April of 2009. He JUST made it to his 2nd year. Was he a starter than entire time? No, he wasn't.

Do you even know the first thing about baseball? Tell me a 5th starter in the American league that has enough innings pitched to qualify as a starter at this point? John Danks 5.25 era and no one else. 54 innings pitched is the minimum requirement at this point.
55 strikeout only 65 innings is good. 27 walks to 55 Ks 2/1 split good. 25 year old lefty hasn't even pitched a full 300 major league innings great.
Young kids like Holland take time. Guys like Roy Halladay had a 5+ era and around .500 record before getting to 300 innings.
There are 14 teams in the American League 70 starters. He's 23rd in strikeouts, 33rd innings pitched, tied for 24th in wins.
Heck he's better then most 4th starters. Most of his hits are coming on counts that were 0-2 or 1-2.

I seem to recall you (Bob) quitting on Colby Lewis earlier this year too (after he had 3 good starts in a row). 8 scoreless innings yesterday, is there any chance that maybe you just don't know $hit about baseball? Yes...I'd say there is.

Holland had another nice outing yesterday. He is just really inconsistent which is what you expect from a young guy. In another year or so it'll start to click and he'll be good. In a couple of years he'll be VERY good.
