A great night! Mavs are in the process of taking care of all ghosts that have haunted them the past few years. I'm loving this journey!

I'm loving this journey! yeah, and assuming we can finish off OKC, it will be hard for me to imagine the NBA allowing the Heat to lose the title. Quite a story of redemption and perseverance but I'm just not sure the NBA cares enough about that stuff to allow LeBron and Wade lose.

Somebody posted this on the Mavs board from a Galloway and Company discussion:
"Last 10 NBA seasons: Teams have trailed by 15+ pts in last five mins of 4,970 games (RS and playoffs). DAL became only winner last night."

I heard the percentage chance of coming from 15 down that late in the game to win as 0.07%.

I have a bad feeling about tonight...we'll see what JJB and JET have going.... So many of these games the Mavs are pulling out down the stretch with guts, poise and heart. This Mavs team is so much different than 2006. They have so much more resolve and mental toughness.

He has been VERY good this series, even when he isn't scoring.

Still...all the same warnings are in place. JET and JJB are our legit 2nd scoring options and they are VERY inconsistent. We need 4 more good games and a focus on defense (and taking care of the ball) along with some luck that the refs don't deem Wade/Bron/Bosh as untouchable.

This Mavs team is so much different than 2006. They have so much more resolve and mental toughness. They looked pretty mentally tough in 2006 before Game 3 of the Finals...beating us on the road in a Game 7 is about as good as anything they have done this playoffs so far...

They looked pretty mentally tough in 2006 before Game 3 of the Finals...beating us on the road in a Game 7 is about as good as anything they have done this playoffs so far... The biggest difference was we lacked a floor leader (Kidd) and a guy that can really make a difference in the middle of the defense (Chandler and Haywood are both better than Diop or Damp). Add in Marion and Stevenson's perimeter defense and this team is VERY different from that one. However, just like that team this one lacks a true 2nd scoring option. If someone keeps stepping up every night we may be ok. However if we get nothing from JET or JJB (or even Marion) we're in deep doodoo.
