www.myfoxboston.com/dpps/sports/never-miss-a-super-bowl-club-member-bob-cook-dies-dpgonc-20110215-fc_11887663NewsCore - Bob Cook, part of the famous foursome who never missed attending a Super Bowl game in 44 years, has died aged 79, WISN reported Monday. Cook and his three buddies of the "Never Miss A Super Bowl Club," gained fame for their annual tradition when it was featured in a Visa TV commercial leading up to Super Bowl XLV.
He was hospitalized with a blood infection prior to the big game between his beloved Green Bay Packers and the Pittsburgh Steelers, and was forced to watch on from his Milwaukee-area hospital bed.
Cook, of Brown Deer, Wis., died Thursday. He leaves behind his wife of 26 years, Sarah, six children and six grandchildren.
"It's a sad day for the never miss club," Don Crisman, a retired sales and marketing executive from Maine and fellow member of the club, told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Know him from the commercial but...OUT!
