Kevin Burnett E-mail News tips
The guy is big, strong and runs with a passion sound fimilair (Marion Barber). Oh by the way he is pretty good at catching the ball. He's the next best to Hands Ward when it comes to being physical at wideout. I am not starting anything but I just went and looked at the Cardinals website and I cant seem to find his name anywhere on the depth chart. WHY is that? Something is in the works with whom I don't know but I bet every dollar I have that Jerry has his hand in the middle of it. I love our wideout grouping but I do know the business aspect of the game and nothing against those guys but Jerry will get the best guys if he can. This goes for upgrading any position. Wideouts are like corners you cant have enough of them. "These are just my thoughts I could be wrong".
I do know the price for those season tickets include the preseason tickets I have to buy some every year.
Yes I did put HANDS on purpose
Is there a way for us to get Keith Davis back?

Wade is gone no matter what. I hope Burnett's feeling is right. That would just be an out of control offense.

I don't know. Jerry sure does like the big name. Plus, he would take over for TO when he retires. Who knows how bad Hurd's high ankle sprain is and if he will be close to 100% at all this season. Austin may be tentative with his bum knee and Stanback's shoulder worries me. But, I like to panic also.

None of the injured WR's will be out more than a couple of games... I don't know if Jerry will get a deal done for Boldin or someone like him, but I do think it will be explored in depth. Hurd is unproven, but seems fairly reliable. However Austin and Stanback for all their talent, seem to keep getting hurt. Even though they are both only likely out for a short time it is difficult for me to sit here and say I trust either one to stay healthy. They are going to have to prove it. With all the injuries at WR, any significant injury to TO could derail this team. I think Jerry will do all he feels like he can do to get someone like Boldin in here to not only add a legit threat opposite TO, not only look towards the future when TO retires, but also create an insurance policy in terms of a real #1 if something drastic happens. Don't forget Romo hitting Boldin for those TDs in the probowl. Jerry talked last week about not bringing in new WRs that Romo hasn't played with because of the lack of chemistry, but Romo and Boldin already showed they have chemistry...just a thought. |
