www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/spt/baseball/rangers/stories/122810dnsporang-lede.544f84.htmlBy JEFF WILSON / Special Contributor to The Dallas Morning News Brandon Webb will receive a base salary of $3 million and could earn more than twice that if he meets contract incentives while pitching for the Rangers in 2011.
A baseball source confirmed the 2011 terms that were agreed to Monday between the former National League Cy Young winner and the reigning American League champions.
General manger Jon Daniels did not comment on the possible deal.
Webb, a right-hander, will take a physical this week. He missed all but four innings of the past two seasons after injuring his shoulder in opening day 2009. He underwent surgery later that year, and didn't return until a few months ago in the instructional league.
Webb was a NL All-Star for three-consecutive seasons (2006-08).

To have a two foot range, he would have to guess one side or the other before the pitch is thrown so he has time to start moving before the hitter makes contact.
