they give awards for that? Like I said, if healthy (minus Caron), I'll take my chances. With Dirk, Chandler, Kidd, and Stevenson nobody actually worries me. We would be in for a dogfight vs SA, LA, Boston, and maybe even Miami by then but nobody scares me. |

BTW...since the Spurs loss at Orlando on a B2B we have beaten WAS, LAL, DAL and OKC...all but the Dallas win was by double digits... As long as we're healthy (reasonably, minus Caron of course) by the playoffs, I'll take my chances. yeah, it's definitely not a death blow to the mavs, BUT i would say butler's been playing some of his best ball ever of late |

He isn't a great "Robin" but he isn't a terrible Batman. |

He was a $10M+ expiring contract AND a guy that can actually play. Now, he is just the expiring (although the team that takes him could get an exemption for almost $6M which is tradeable). |

If they are looking to dump salary (we have to take back Brand) then they would have to take Butler and Haywood...that I would do. They might 3 team that and send Haywood to the Rockets.
Iggy would be good. Kevin Martin would be good too, and probably cost less.

Playing tough D and knocking down 3s. Solid performance...with Dirk out and Butler gone for the season, he will need to do that on a consistant basis. |
