Normally when we start strong...we win titles. When we start slowly and build up...we are 2nd round fodder... I question this. 1999: 6-6 thru 12 2003: 8-4 thru 12 2005: 9-3 thru 12 2007: 10-2 thru 12 Aside from 1999, which only has Duncan left on the current team, the Spurs have always had strong starts during title years. In the era of the big 3, strong starts and strong finishes equal titles...

looks like a couple of slow starts, one semi-fast start, one fast start

looks like a couple of slow starts, one semi-fast start, one fast start 8-4 is a solid start to me...9-3 and 10-2 are fast starts in my eyes.

8-4 is just 66%. I'd expect that for a full season (or better) so I don't consider it a fast start. 9-3 is good, 10-2 is fast. My point was, two lf them were not really "fast" starts...one was actually a "poor" start by championship standards.

Dallas last 2 wins were impressive, they really did a number on us Friday night. Spurs bounced back well though and beat New Orleans on the road by 14 after being down by 17 at the half...

Spurs are now 22-3...almost any other division we would be winning going away. Kudos to the Mavs for keeping up with us and owning the head to head so far. I keep thinking the bottom is going to fall out on us but they keep finding ways to win. Manu is making a strong MVP case...buzzer beater against Milwaukee and last second shot and charge draw against Denver on back to back wins...

sorry dude, NO WAY they can call that charge with no time left....gotta swallow the whistles. You can't make borderline judgement calls...if he grabs his arm that is different but a borderline charge call? No way.

If it was reversed and Anthony drew a charge on Manu with no time left, I would be saying the same as you...I'll take the wins any way I can get them though.
