It was alot better than I thought it would be. Think "28 Days Later" mixed with "Gladiator" and "Mad Max", it is kind of all over the place...but in a good way. Not alot of big name actors since it is a British made movie but I did recognize Bob Hoskins (Who Killed Roger Rabbit guy) and Malcom Mcdowell (various movies). The action was very nicely done, plenty of shooting, killing, torture, car chases and even cannibalism. I give it a thumbs up...

"The action was very nicely done, plenty of shooting, killing, torture, car chases and even cannibalism. " That should be their tag line to catch people's attention. Does sound good though.

I saw the 4th Rambo movie yesterday at work. Had to check my brain out before I watched it. After that, just a bunch of dumb lines from Sly and a bunch of gunfire and explosions. It was OK. Didn't mind wasting my time with it.

Didn't mind wasting my time with it. I enjoyed the 4th Rambo, thought it was as good as the 3rd one. The only part I thought was silly was when the humanitarian guy, after Rambo saves his girlfriend by killing the pirates, goes "Sorry Rambo, I'm gonna have to report you for this". I just wanted Rambo to beat the hell out of him after that...

what about the Rainn Wilson movie "The Rocker"? Saw a preview for that the other day. Looks like a finely crafted comedy movie.

what about the Rainn Wilson movie "The Rocker"? That might need to be the next group outing...anything with Dwight in it has to be a little funny.

Just got done watching the 4th Die Hard movie.....Liked it a lot. Throwing a car at a helicopter was pretty funny.

The whole movie was over the top, but I am a sucker for those everything-blows-up-and-everyone-shoots-at-everyone. Kevin Smith's guy was funny, also.

Speaking of over the top....just remembered the scene in Rambo 4 when he shoots the enemy dude in the leg with an arrow. As he hobbles along, he shoots him in the head and then he falls on a landmine. Classic Sly.
