Choice might be a story line if he wasn't fighting with Ray Lewis' brother for the 3rd RB slot....he'll get it though. Lattimore's best hope is for practice squad this year.
I like Lowber but I don't think he is ready...he is more practice squad material...he needs ALOT of snaps to learn the game.

If they keep 5, you are right. If they keep 6, I think it will be Amendola (he still has time and they really seem to like him, even when they talk about his screwups). Don't forget, we carried 3 TEs last year and 6 WRs with Glenn on the active roster so he could try to come back. He wasn't active on game day, but he was on the 53 man roster, not IR. |

I think Stanback needs to watch his back. He better start doing something on special teams. I really could see him being cut.

zero chance Stanback gets cut.
Jerry LOVES him and talks about him being "special" all the time.
He had a great return vs Denver, I think he will be our primary KO returner this year.
They know he lost most of his rookie season with the foot injury and when he did get back to practicing he was learning a new position on the fly. They will be patient. He has this year and next training camp to show he is getting it. If not, he will be in danger then.
Every WR on the roster after TO is a work in progress. Hurd and Austin are further along, but they are also farther into their development. Stanback isn't in danger at all.
