There was a thread on the messageboard that started off talking about Ryhner talking bad about Fish and db.com (even though Corby is a paid subscriber). It kind of got into Ticket Talk in general. Some guys love the station, some hate it. Here was my post:
For me, the problem is almost every show has someone that drives me crazy (in a bad way).
Dunham and Miller - George = a good...Miller man, not so much. Gordo has alot of funny moments, and others where I wish they would mic-off.
Norm - good sports talk, until he starts with the betting stuff.
BAD Radio - Sturm is genius and Donovan is awesome. Dan...can't they just take away his mic completely? Wouldn't it still be BAD radio without Dan? Bob and Donovan??
Hardline - Corby has proven to be more than adequate as Greggo's replacement. Danny is greatness. The old gray wolf powers me down 75% of the time.
Bring back the Wild A$$ Circus. I miss Sideshow Bob, Big Dave, Mexican Junior, Jesse, and all those other guys that used to be on there.

yeah, i heard the segment at the start of today's show
rhynes has hated fisher since way back when they were in opposing timeslots during early afternoons back in the mid-'90s
corby was saying that he's so addicted to basketball right now, that he's even resorted to subscribing to pay sites, like dallasbasketball.com - this sent rhynes into a fit, mainly because that's fisher's site.
rhynes claims pretty much all the free sites/blogs are way better than dallasbasketball.com
corby said he mainly wants it because followill also writes there, but rhynes told corby just to call followill whenever he needs basketball info

He is DEAD wrong about the free sites. Fish's site has David Lord on it, who knows more about the NBA salary cap and rules than probably anyone not working for a NBA team (and maybe a few of them). They are always ahead of the curve on trades and personnel moves as well. I read MavsMoneyBall and several others, but none are even close to DallasBasketball.com.

Thanks for getting our names on the post, I doubt anyone remembers us though. Gordon is what made the Ticket successful, followed by the Musers and the Hardline. Without the goofy dear, they may have ended up being just like 103.3 and 105.3, he showed them the way...such greatness.
