When Nelson handed his TD football to OUR cheerleader, it pissed me off.
1) I thought the next TD scored by us, our player should have taken the ball over to her and gave her a big hug.
2) Should she be fired? Seems AWFULLY bad taste fraternizing with the other team during a game.
I've seen alot of people on twitter and messageboards saying to fire her and plenty saying it is no big deal. I was very angry when I saw it, but I'm not sure I want anyone losing their job over it. There would be a terrible public backlash if they fire her. I'm just not sure, but I think something needs to be done.
Then again, I thought something should be done when Darrell Armstrong got on the Mav's PA and said "How about them Redskins" at a Sunday night game after the Cowboys had lost to Washington. I even emailed Cuban.
I'm tired of the disrespect. I'm tired of people dancing on our star (they just do it on the small ones in the endzone now) or doing their pre-game pep talk at our 50 yard line or hugging our cheerleaders during the game. I'm tired of it. I just want someone on our side to strike back. 44-7 is nice, but I want more than that.

Yeah, I think she should be fired, without question.
It's really Nelson's fault, because he shouldn't have put her in that position to begin with by making such a huge in-game spectacle of it. Just give her the ball at home after the game.

She should be fired, make an example of her to the rest of the league that this should not be going on. Nelson should be fined by the NFL also to discourage players from doing it also...

Jerry claims he thinks the whole thing was great. He loved that it brought extra exposure to the cheerleaders, which brought more exposure to the team. Can't agree with him on this one.

I think the blame is more on Nelson. She didn't look too excites about it. Way embarrassed. I think I heard they were dating before he signed with Buffalo, him being a local kid. I didnt like it, but it's not her fault. The players should know not to so that sort of thing.

This is alot like the TO on the star thing. Emmitt went out there and put the ball on the star after we scored. TO went back. Teague lit him up.
Somebody should have given his GF a ball...then long dicked her after the game.

But it really did piss me off....I'm tired of the disrespect. I want our guys to start doing stuff like this after every first down. Anything to annoy the other team and disrespect them like they do us.
