Nov 5, 2011 - Spurs GM R.C. Buford was arrested late Friday night after crashing his vehicle into a fence near downtown San Antonio, according to KSAT.com, the website for San Antonio's ABC affiliate. Buford was charged with driving while intoxicated with an open container. Details are still scarce, but it sounds like it may have been a single-vehicle accident with no injuries. Buford posted bond Saturday morning and was released. It's not yet known where Buford was coming from, but several hours before KSAT broke the news of his arrest, at least one Twitter user reported seeing Buford at Ringside SA, a charity function held in downtown San Antonio.
