That made me laugh. Wasn't that the Carpenter bobble or Punto bare-hand miss? i think it was punto tonight's game has been rained the eff out It was the David Murphy liner off the pitcher that Puta couldn't handle I think.

unbelievable game devastating result pinning all my hopes on us having not lost back-to-back since august Reminded me of .4 and Manu fouling Dirk in game 7...just a nut kick of the highest order. After losses like this, there is usually no recovery...

I'm very worried about tonight's game. I am going to do my best to bring them luck (yes I am that superstitious thinking what I do helps). I’m going to do the Maverick Playoff routine of buying Wingstop, putting on my Doctor Who T-Shirt and calling my mom from the car in the parking lot of Wingstop. Mavs were 3-0 when I did that routine. They were 14-4 when I wore the Who shirt. It’s silly but it’s all I can do.

I'm nervous, too, but like I told Gary last night, if there's any manager who can get his team to shake off a loss like that and get back on track tonight it's Wash. That, and our long streak of not losing back-to-backs are both strongly in our favor.

Well that happened. I know in time I'll appreciate the season and the AL championship but this morning it feels like a kick in the nuts.

As I had thought going into it, Rangers lost this series last night when the deathblow was dealt by Freese. Once they lost that first inning lead tonight, they kind of looked zombified. Congrats to the Cardinals...like I saw on FB earlier, it's a shame that Nellie not going all out for that ball in Game 6 is going to be this team's Scott Norwood "Wide Right" moment. Something to be said for getting there back to back but I doubt Buffalo takes much solace in just getting there nowadays...sad indeed.
