Post your thoughts and predictions...
I am going with my heart instead of my head on this one.
Cowboys 24 Lions 21
The 3 point streak goes up to 10, I think Dez will have a better game this time and Witten will be solid. I expect lots of quick throws and screens from Romo to offset the Detroit defensive front. We will struggle BIGTIME to contain Calvin Johnson but will shut down Best in the running game.

The two things they do REALLY well (disrupt the interior line and throw the ball down the field) are the two things we struggle with the most. Hopefully we can offset those.

Lions 31 Cowboys 20
I don't think the Cowboys will play poorly, I just think the Lions are REALLY good - and like Gary said, their strengths align too closely with our weaknesses.

I had hoped we would win but I would have accepted a loss. Detroit looks like they are going to be a good team this year. But to have a lead, a big lead and to blow it via interceptions and poor play, it rips out your heart.
It's hard to defend Romo this week. We are 2-2 and the two losses can be laid at Romo's feet.

I really, really don't want Romo to get ripped this week. But he will, and it's hard to defend him.

I can't defend the poor decisions. I'm a Romo supporter. He has his bad games. He has good games. He wins games in the 4th quarter. He (helps) blow leads. He beats Indy (twice). He beats New Orleans when they are undefeated. He plays well enough to win a playoff game in Seattle, driving us for the winning score, then botches the hold. He SHOULD have beaten the Giants when they won the Superbowl but his WR drops the ball on a critical 3rd down and then stops his route on what SHOULD have been the winning TD. He beats the Packers in a matchup of "good" teams. He throws bad picks in Buffalo. He craps the bed vs the Jets (the punt block didn't help).
He just goes out and plays. Sometimes that is bad. More often it is good. However, until he wins THE game, nothing else will matter. 4th quarter stats won't matter. QBR won't matter. QB Rating won't matter. Like Dirk, only ONE thing will quiet the noise.

I guess Romo didn't want to hear any of Jerry's "rah rah" speech...
I am so sick of hearing the same excuses and same press conferences from him and Garrett...
"Well, we made some mistakes, I cost us the game and we will make this a learning opportunity and move forward"
I did think it was funny that during Romo's press conference, he caught himself mid sentence when he said he was going to try and not let this situation happen again...been there done that. He will never learn, for every great play he makes, he will make an equally idiotic play to cost us when it matters. I am ready to tank for RGIII...

Dirk backs Romo... "Dear tony romo. Don't worry abt all the critics," Nowitzki wrote on his Twitter account. "I heard that same garbage for a long time. Keep working hard and keep improving."
