Did Rivers light up the Superbowl champs a few times last year? Their weapons are very similar. Romo has put up WAY better numbers. You just love to hate Romo. You've been that way since day 1 and it won't change. We all know it, and frankly nobody cares because that is just how you are. Nearly every analyst in the game ranks Romo as a slight notch below Brady/Manning but above pretty much everyone else. You're alone on this one dude.

Yeah you are right we beat Giant twice, third time was the one that mattered. Chargers lost to Pats missing LT and with an injured Rivers. Tony is way better then them. I get it you love the Cowboys you drink the Koolaid I just have an open mind and willing to think other players in the league are pretty good too. As I have said once this season is over I think Romo will have proved himself. But at this point I think lots of QBs are better then him. Wow a total of 5 people. Guess what I think MB3 is the 6th best running back in the league. I think TO is the 3rd best. I think Leanord Davis is the best guard in the league. I think Wittin is the 2nd best tight end. The is no problem with you loving Romo and having a sports debate, he is in the top 5 QBs in the league. Right there with Brees, and Rivers. Each player is waiting to take the next step.

And all Romo did was shatter all Cowboys passing records missing his #2 WR the entire season. We had guys injured vs the Giants too, don't pretend we were healthy while pointing out Rivers was missing a lineman.
The truth is, you'll find something to nitpick about anything said about Romo. You're a hater, through a through. You like the Cowboys and some of the other players, but you've hated him since day 1.

No I like Romo just not willing to give him major props until he has done more, I do have him slated a little true. But you know this already. He has to perform win a playoff game, not be Jessica's little QB bitch. I expect so much from Dallas's QB and Running back cause they have big foot steps to follow. Reason I have no problem with MB3 going back into the powerback role. He is the best bruiser I have watched in a long time. He is the best at what he does best. Romo is the best scrabbler in the league at this point. But can he lead, can he push them past the rest and win a superbowl?

I'm waiting on him to win a playoff game as well, but I've seen him play well in "big games" with Jessica in the house (Green Bay for example) and I've seen his drive and determination help pull one out of the ditch (Buffalo). I see all the things he needs to be "the guy". He's only started one full season man...don't forget watching the Aikman "lean years"...those weren't always rosey and he had some BAD games along the way.

Aikman had skins on the wall coming into the NFL, I knew he wasn't going to be a fluke. Romo could still be a one and done type. I pray he isn't.

Ryan Leaf, Jeff George, Gino Torretta all had skins from college. None lead their team to a Super Bowl win. Only George had a "career" and that's just because he had a cannon for an arm.

Everyone (mainly media) keeps harping on how Romo is 0-for-2 in the playoffs, as if he completely melted down and choked in both games, when the reality is he did no such thing. Against Seattle, he played very well under center. His only miscue was a dropped hold, which he actually would have turned into a game-winning TD if Grammatica had even slightly nudged Babideaux. So, if anyone is to blame for that loss, it is Grammatica.
Against the Giants, Romo didn't have his best game, but it was definitely good enough to win. The OL completely $h1t the bed during the 4th quarter, and if any single person is to blame for that loss, it is Crayton for the drop and the stopped route.
ROMO IS GREATNESS.

Really does Rivers have TO? He has one tool Gate and LT is 50% of their offense. You some times need to back away from the Cowboys Koolaid and look and see there are some better players in the league. I think Romo and Rivers are on par but Rivers has taken his time to a championship game. It is Romo's turn to do something in the playoffs. Yeah he played well enough last season to win, but doesn't take the bitter taste from my mouth in 08. The only two QBs I'd put on the same tier as Romo are Brees and Roethlisberger. The third tier would consist of Rivers, Hasslebeck, Palmer, and Eli.

Yeah you are right we beat Giant twice, third time was the one that mattered. Chargers lost to Pats missing LT and with an injured Rivers. Chargers won AT INDIANAPOLIS with BILLY VOLEK. The Cowboys would never win such a playoff game without Romo. Advantage: ROMO

Hell, Eli was 0-2 in the playoffs before last season. Everyone was saying the same thing about him. He had a wicked D playing for him that could get after the QB. I still don't think Eli is near the QB that Romo is. Payton & Brady are the only ones above Romo.

That was a Romo miscue all the way and, if you asked him, he would tell you as much...
