Tami and I are watching Jurassic Park now. The part where the T-Rex breaks out of the pit and eats the dude sitting on the pot was still as cool as it was back then. It was an AWESOME theater movie. The first one is still the best one. So what are some of you guys favorite movies to see in the theater from back in the day?

I don't recall seeing the original in the theater but Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi were big time theater movies. Same goes for The Matrix trilogy, they all seemed to be more intense in the theaters...

A buddy of mine would get his sister to drop us off at the theater when it came out. We were in middle school when it was released and we thought it was by far the best movie we had ever seen. I think we saw it 4 or 5 times during the summer.

All 3 Lord of the Rings maybe cause I watched them in the middle of the night when they released. Return of the Jedi was great. I personally liked the moves like Deep Impact.

movie theaters here in Doha have assigned seating. when you buy your ticket you have to look at an electronic seating chart and tell them which seat you want....actually works out very well.
did I mention this before? dangit....
