I thought his love for the ex would continue to be story line, but now they've made her available again....of course, she could still shun him.

they definitely went to mexico
there's not much they could do with future eps if he went to prison

He was going to prison for 18 months...they could do away with most of that during between seasons.
In the meantime there are all kinds of problems he could have in prison (obviously). They could write a backstory where someone from his past pops up and he gives up evidence against them for a reduced sentence or probation.
Lots of ways around that since they can write whatever they want.
I don't know...I think he went to jail. Like the lawyer told him. It would not be a matter of IF they found him but WHEN...and they would never stop.

I think if it does come back, they will show that he went to prison.
Then maybe Hank starts working on a case and it leads him to someone that has a past with Britt. Hank goes to see Britt in prison and gets the information he needs to find the guy and turn him over to police. Rather than just doing that, they work a deal with the police to give him a reduced sentence + probation...maybe in prison 3 or 4 months (during the break) and out 2 or 3 episodes into the 2nd season.

I still say throw it on HBO or Showtime, add in some boobs and cussing and it would do GREAT.
