What about Dwayne Bowe from Kansas City in for Crayton? I haven't seen him play an entire game, but I hear he is coming along pretty well after a good rookie year. Pretty much any young WR that shows promise would be a good fit...

What about Marcus Trufant instead of Henry?

What about Marcus Trufant instead of Henry? That would be a slight upgrade, more so due to Henry not being able to stay healthy for a full season. I still think 2nd WR is a more pressing need though...

As do I. I figured I would explore other options. How old is Trufant anyway? Is there anyone of the D line that you would want to swap out with anyone? I liked what I saw from the 1st teamers against SD.

I think the D line is fine as is, pretty much the whole defense is set except maybe swapping Roy for a better coverage safety and moving Hamlin to the strong side. I don't think that will end up making or breaking them though, they will run enough nickel and zone to cover up Roy's weaknesses.

I think we could upgrade at Left Guard but the player to replace Kosier is already on our team McQuistan.

I would hope so. We can't keep paying top $$$ for our O-line. In-house development is huge. This is his 3rd yr, I think, so I would hope he could take over the starting job eventually.

Mcquistan didn't show me much in that preseason game. If he doesn't turn it around before the season starts, it may be time for him to go the way of Rogers...

How has our scouting & drafting missed out so much on O-line drafting? Seems like back in the 90s we had quality depth and now.....no depth at all.

Don't forget the only knock on Newman coming out of college was his age...he turned 25 part way through his rookie year I think. My guess is that Trufant is around 26. I could look it up, but I'm lazy.

Newman is 30.

I think we could safely assume Bob would like to trade in Romo for this guy....
